Although newly installed meters are now functioning in downtown Chapala’s expanded pay-to-park zone, tickets for parking violations will not be issued to vehicles occupying spaces along Avenidas Madero and Hidalgo until after the Easter holidays.
Payment of parking fees is still obligatory on Paseo Ramon Corona. Inspectors will start keeping watch over the entire regulated zone as of Monday, April 8.
