Atlas going strong in the Liga MX

Despite recently suffering a first home defeat of the season to Santos Laguna, local soccer team Atlas remains just two points behind Tigres at the top of the Liga MX.
As the Clausura 2013 season began, Atlas was in danger of being demoted to Mexico’s second division, the Ascenso MX, due to its low point average over the last three years. But the team has responded in fine fashion, winning the first five games it played at Guadalajara’s Estadio Jalisco and losing just two of eleven games in total.
