Guadalajara’s interim Mayor Francisco Ayon (C) joins in with the reforestation effort beside Avenida Lazaro Cardenas on Wednesday.
Following the recent illegal felling of 139 roadside trees, Ayon led students from the Universidad Tecnológica de Guadalajara in planting 140 ash trees donated by local newspaper El Informador.
