Jocotepec is getting a head start on September’s Fiestas Patrias celebration with two special events programmed for this weekend.
The town’s traditional Baile del Rebozo, a Mexican dress dance party, is on for Saturday, August 24, from 10 p.m., at the municipal auditorium. While tickets for the event have already sold out, advance table reservations for the September 7 Señorita Jocotepec beauty pageant and formal coronation ball will be up for grabs as of Monday, August 26. Bookings are available at Restaurant La Carreta, Hidalgo Sur. 71.
