If they would only cry “fore” first!

Neighbors of the Mayan Palace resort in Jarretaderas are complaining that they are under attack — by golf balls.

The resort has a two-hole practice area on the edge of their property and has failed to put up a net to keep wayward balls from slamming into their neighbor’s properties.

Fences, roof tiles, windows, autos and domestic appliances have been the victims of most of the errant balls, but some homeowners have been hit and had to go to the hospital for attention.

One homeowner had a television screen smashed by a ball and when he complained to the hotel management, they neglected to pay for his loss, but promised to put up a net. So far the balls just keep on coming.
