Four well-established authors will rub elbows with local scribes during three days of activities scheduled for the 10th Annual Lake Chapala Writers Conference, set for February 26 through 28 at Ajijic’s Hotel Danza del Sol.
Guest writers booked as speakers and panelists at the event include award-winning Canadian novelist and memoirist Lawrence Hill; his equally accomplished spouse, fiction and poetry writer Miranda Hill; historical novelist Claudia H. Long; and prolific non-fiction and mystery writer John Scherber.
The conference gets under way Wednesday, February 26, 5 p.m., with an ice-breaker cocktail gathering. All four authors are involved in the February 27 conference work session opener, a panel discussion entitled “My Personal Journey to Becoming a Writer.” They will also lead the panel on “Creativity: Where Ideas Come From,” closing the program on the following day.
