After 20 hours of work by fire brigades two forest fires in western Zapopan Thursday night were still not under control.
Both blazes began on the highway to Colotlan and spread to Rancho El Taray and Parderas de San Antonio near the pueblo of Santa Lucia. City employees from Parks, Public Lighting and Municipal Services were lending a hand Zapopan firefighters and state and city Civil Protection units.
