Dear Sir,
On behalf of Manuel Renteria (injured in the hit-and-run accident on June 2) and the Cruz Roja International Volunteers we want to thank all of you for your much needed cash donations for Manuel’s pain medications and food. He has severe pain in his ribs, legs and back. He is on crutches and unable to work at this time.
The continued support of Cruz Roja Chapala, on Charlie Klestadt’s behalf, has been overwhelming. He has done so much to help maintain first response medical service at lakeside and I’m sure your continued support of raffle sales, luau ticket sales and direct donations is pleasing to him. In a few months when he is able to thank you personally, we are sure he will.
Now, however, please accept the thanks of Manuel, the volunteers and the Chapala board of directors. Volunteering is a non-cash way to help maintain the strong emergency services at lakeside and we hope you will participate.
