British Ambassador to Mexico Judith Macgregor will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Lakeside British Society, to be held on Saturday, March 3, 1 p.m. at Manix Restaurant, Ocampo 57 in Ajijic.
Macgregor assumed her post in September 2009. Previously she has held positions in diverse European cities, including Paris, Belgrade, Prague and Bratislava.
The menu includes Azteca soup and a choice of chicken with Marcella sauce, stuffed chayote and broccoli or white fish wrapped in anise leaves for 120 pesos (including tip). The other menu choice is a large salad and dessert for 80 pesos.
