Life gets exciting around here after local elections. The winners are always quick to get their pet projects underway.
Lately, driving in the village has become a little more complicated than usual, with city workers ripping out corner curbs and replacing them with ramps. This is a great idea and will come in handy for some with walking problems. However, it might have first been better to ensure that the sidewalks are smooth and wide enough to be used by people in wheelchairs and with walkers.
