In the rear

Just a reminder to all of you (us) old farts about the rear view mirrors in your cars.

Though they work well for hanging rosaries, baby shoes, CDs, weird little dolls and suspended post-it notes to remind us of where the next stop is, they also work well for reflections of what’s going on behind us. The thing is, you have to look in the mirror before it does any good. It is especially important while backing out of parking spaces in crowded incoming and outgoing spaces that are dubious at best.
