The future of the Compañia Estatal de Danza Clasica y Neoclasica hangs in the balance with the incoming administration unclear about how to manage Jalisco’s only professional state-funded dance company.
Company director Guillermo Hernandez left his position this week, while members of the troupe sent a letter to governor-elect Aristoteles Sandoval complaining at their treatment at the hands of former state culture officials.
