Children's Day theatrics

There’ll be plenty of drama happening during the Dia del Niño weekend – and we don’t just mean theatrics over gifts, candies and the like.

The Teatro Diana is putting on the classic puppet production “Canek, a Mayan legend,” on Sunday, April 29, 1 p.m. (80-180 pesos), while the Teatro Torres Bodet (Av. Av Alcalde 1351) presents “La Bella y la Bestia” (Beauty and the Beast) Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29, noon (80 pesos); and the Ex Convento del Carmen (Av.
