Parapan torch to make 2-day relay |

The torch for the Parapan American Games will make its way through Guadalajara on Thursday and Friday, ahead of the international sporting event, which kicks off this weekend. A total of 112 athletes will be responsible for carrying the Parapan torch over a route of 28 kilometers through the streets of Tonala, Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara and Zapopan. The first runner will be Paralympic athlete David Valdez. Beginning at 4 pm on Friday in the Cerro de la Reina, Tonala, the relay will finish at the Telmex Athletics Stadium during the opening ceremony on Saturday night.
