Alice Elizabeth Neal died in her Ajijic home on December 15 at the age of 69.
Born August 2, 1942 in Auburn, California, Neal graduated from Hillsdale High School in San Mateo, California.
She married William C. Neal in 1980 and the couple retired to Ajijic in May 2005.
Neal’s parents, Einar and Elizabeth Kaarlela, predeceased her. She is survived by her husband, Bill Neal, of Ajijic. Her son, Ken Misin (Danielle) lives in Curpertino, California and her daughter Michelle DeBeers resides in Montero, California. Stepdaughter Natalie Neal resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and her stepson William M. Neal lives in Huntington Beach , California. She had one grandson, Cody DeBeers.
Friends will gather Friday, December 30, 1 p.m. at Roberto’s Restaurant in Ajijic to celebrate her life.
