Dorothy H. Blaskovich

Six-year Ajijic resident Dorothy H. Blaskovich passed away on November 5, at the age of 83.

Born October 3, 1928 in Sidney, Montana, Blaskovich grew up and graduated from Sidney High School in 1946.

She went on to nursing school in Minot, North Dakota, Miles City, Montana, and Warm Springs, Montana, where she met the love of her life Edward Blaskovich. They were married on November 21, 1948 in Anaconda, Montana, while her husband worked for Montana State Fish and Game.

Dorothy and her husband then went on to own and operate jewelry stores in Missoula, Montana and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. After retirement they relocated in Ajijic, and made many new friends.

Blaskovich was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Hart. She is survived by her husband Edward (Ajijic) and her son Bill and his wife Molly (Ajijic/Seattle, Washington) and three granddaughters, Joelyn  Rene Kim, Michella Jean Blaskovich, and Kari Lynn Blaskovich Arciniega and four great grandchildren.
