Dunlap was an early riser and was often seen walking along the Carretera in the morning hours.
As one who had been a full-time farmer all his life, Dunlap was intrigued with agricultural practices everywhere, which led him on tours of about 50 countries. He loved learning about people and all aspects of their cultures.
Survivors include his wife, daughter Cynthia Rothrock, sons Mack and Keith Dunlap and grandson Caleb Tennis.
Private services were held with entombment following at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Terre Haute.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in his honor to the Niños y Jovenes home.
