A Dutch celebration in San Antonio

All Dutch citizens, Dutch-speaking people and fans of the Netherlands are invited to a New Year’s reception – with oliebollen – on Friday, January 4, 4-6 p.m. at Baya Bistro owned by “Canadian” countryman Bert Klein.

The bistro is located in the palapa opposite Super Lake in San Antonio Tlayacapan.

The oliebollen will be free and  Bert will offer a discount on the drinks for this special event.  After the reception there will be an opportunity to eat in the bistro.

To make sure there is enough oliebollen for everybody, try to call 3331376326 (cell) to confirm assistance.

For those not in the know, oliebollen  is a Dutch pastry similar to a doughnut. It typically is a deep fried pastry filled with raisins and dusted with powdered sugar.
