Robert Alexander, a retired American scientist turned television travelogue host, blew into the lakeshore area last week to tape footage for a segment of his popular Gringo en Mexico series.
Each episode of the 30-minute program features the peripatetic reporter exploring a different corner of the nation, extolling its sites of interest, colorful festivities, culinary specialties, typical crafts and other unique attributes.
