Elders decked out in full-skirted adelita outfits drew warm applause as they danced along Avenida Madero in Chapala’s traditional Revolution Day parade, a colorful spectacle that ran for more than two hours.
Big crowds turned out to watch the squads of school kids who wowed spectators with well-rehearsed athletic routines, while local dance troupes captured the spirit of the holiday with fancy steps and swirling skirts timed to lively tunes.
