A reporter from USA Today will cover October’s meeting of the Lakeside Tea Party, according to Ed Cage, husband of Karen Cage, the group’s president.
Cage said Tea Party members are in high spirits and helping “to get out the vote” for November’s general election.
Despite it being a tough week for Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate is still “within striking distance” of Barack Obama, Cage told the Reporter.
