Chapala’s Escuela Prepatoria is actively recruiting volunteers to launch English conversation workshops geared for advanced level language students enrolled in economic and administrative curricula at the University of Guadalajara.
The pilot program will run for 10 to 12 weeks, with two-hour sessions to be scheduled on Saturdays, any time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., at the convenience of the assigned tutors. Individual groups will be limited to a maximum of 10 students under the guidance of a native English speaker and a teaching assistant. The pre-established study plan calls for discussions on English language books and movies and casual chats on specific topics of interest.
