Dozens of boxes filled with family-size bottles of Corona beer spilled out onto the service road in San Antonio Tlayacapan in an October 19 fluke mishap involving a double semi-trailer delivery truck. Traffic officers on the scene explained that the rear segment of articulated lorry tipped over after the driver parked near the Corona depository and began lowering the landing gear on top of a small patch of damp ground that gave way under the weight of the load. The tow truck crew tagged to unload the brew found a surprising number of the glass bottles survived the incident. The spectacle provoked lots of rubber-necking among passing motorists.
