Four men were shot to death at a Zapopan home just two blocks from the Plaza del Sol shopping mall in the early hours of Saturday, January 5.
Police heard shots being fired around 5 a.m. and found the victims, three of whom were from the state of Michoacan, at a property on the corner of Iztaccihuatl and Mixcoatl in the upmarket Ciudad del Sol neighborhood. Police officers seized three luxury vehicles from the residence and later found a blood-stained pickup truck abandoned nearby.
