Despite Guadalajara’s 22,000 hotel rooms averaging an occupancy rate of just 51 percent in 2012, another six hotels will soon be opening across the city.
Downtown, the eight-story, 48-room Hotel Vista Hermosa is being built on the corner of Juarez and 8 de Julio, while the Suburbia store on Juarez and Pedro Moreno is to be converted into the NH Centro Historico hotel.
