Guadalajara’s iconic Minerva Glorieta was one of several city landmarks lit up in pink last Friday to mark International Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
The Teatro Degollado and the arches on Avenida Vallarta also turned pink, while the Minerva was further decorated with flowers in the shape of a ribbon, the symbol adopted in the worldwide campaign against breast cancer.
