Jalisco Governor Emilio Gonzalez “inaugurated” IBM’s new Smarter Data Center in El Salto last week, although it remains in the first of three stages of construction.
IBM has invested 30 million dollars in the center located at its Guadalajara Technology Campus. The project will create 6,000 jobs, offering a data storage service and providing customers with sophisticated 3D modeling tools, as well as real-time virtual access to monitor the performance of systems within the facility.
