Police in Guadalajara have arrested 48 motorcyclists allegedly behind a string of robberies in the Zona Rosa and the city center.
In the last month alone there have been around 250 reports of robberies linked to men on motorbikes, often working in pairs, in neighborhoods such as Chapultepec, Medrano, Santa Tere and Ladron de Guevara.
To minimize risk, those sitting at bars, restaurants or cafes in the Avenida Chapultepec area with valuable items such as cell phones or laptops are advised to keep them as close as possible at all times.
