New drivers licenses that are harder to falsify and that contain personal information about the bearer will soon be issued by the state transportation authority, the Secretaria de Vialidad y Transporte de Jalisco (SVT), often referred to as simply Transito.
Diego Monraz Villaseñor acquainted the local media with the license at a press conference this week, at the same time as announcing a new system allowing drivers to make appointments on the Internet to obtain or renew licenses.
