A Cruz Verde paramedic was killed in Zapopan when a car crashed into the ambulance he was riding in early on Sunday morning.
Pedro Israel Palos Coronado, 30, died shortly after the vehicle was hit by a green Honda Civic, whose driver fled. The culprit was later arrested while seeking medical attention, allegedly still under the influence of alcohol.
