Transito police are giving out more than 1,000 tickets per day in the metro area to those not wearing their seatbelts, having overly dark polarized windows, vehicles with only one license plate, with babies not in special seats, speeding, using a cell phone and motorcycle riders without helmets. The price for not wearing a seatbelt is 600 pesos.
