Thousands of young people, many of whom belonged to the #YoSoy132 student movement, took part in the “Mega March” from downtown Guadalajara to the Zapopan Basilica on Sunday to protest the “imposition” of Enrique Peña Nieto as Mexico’s president-elect.
More demonstrations are planned across Mexico before Peña Nieto takes up office on December 1.
