Zapopan city council has prohibited circuses from using performing animals but their edict didn’t prevent one famous troupe from setting up last week in the adjoining Guadalajara municipal zone.
Circo Atayde erected its big top at the open space beside La Normal traffic circle, within Guadalajara’s municipal borders.
The daily shows feature tigers, elephants, horses and dogs.
