- Mexican Stock Market (BMV) opened at 37,190.90 a decrease of 193.44 points from Thursday, January 4, 2011.

- Interest paid on 28-day Treasury Certificates (CETES) decreased 0.06 percent to 4.26 percent from Thursday, January 4, 2011.

- Bank Interest paid on 28-day 10,000 to 50,000 peso Promissory Notes was steady ranging from 1.22 to 3.95 percent.

- U.S. dollar traded Thursday at 13.20 pesos buy, 13.70 pesos sell.

- Canadian dollar traded at 12.55 pesos buy, 13.30 pesos sell.

- Euro traded at 16.89 pesos buy, 17.55 pesos sell.

- Gold (1 oz) Mexcio: 20,990.7. pesos; New York: 1,631.50 U.S.

- Oil (brl) Mexican mix: 108.78 U.S.; West Texas Intermediate: $102.24 U.S.

- Inflation December 2011: 0.82 percent.

- Annual Inflation (from Dec. 2010 to Dec. 2011): 3.82 percent.
