Candidates vying to win the Chapala mayor’s seat have hit the physical and virtual campaign trail for all they’re worth.

The Jalisco Electoral Institute (IEPC) has scheduled its third trial run of electronic gear to be employed for the 2012 state and local elections in 43 designated municipalities, including Chapala, Jocotepec, Poncitlan and Ixtlahuacan de los Membrillos.
