The University of Guadalajara (UdeG) has risen one place to 50th in the annual list of the top 250 academic institutions in Latin America.
The University of Sao Paulo tops the list published this week, with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in fifth, making it the highest ranked Mexican institution. The list was compiled by QS Intelligence Unit, a company from the United Kingdom which produces educational rankings.
