Most people feel a combination of relief and reverence when the omnipresent baking heat of the dry season is replaced by a flurry of thunderous, savage rain storms – mid-June’s abrupt and explosive climatic change that more often than not appears right on cue.
According to the University of Guadalajara’s Astronomy and Meteorology Institute (IAM), the first serious downpours of the rainy season are forecast for Tuesday, June 12, with a three-day margin of error either side of the date.
