Aerojal, the new Guadalajara-based airline announced in March, is set to begin operations some time in September, company executives said this week.
Although the airline is still awaiting its official certification, investors are ready to pump 30 million dollars into the project.
At first, the airline will operate out of Terminal One of the Guadalajara International Airport, but later move into the second terminal. The business will start with two Embraer 45 planes, with 40 to 50 seats each, and add one more plane per month.
