Time for all you golfers to find your clubs and practice your putting. The Annual Cruz Roja Golf Classic is set for Thursday, November 1, at the Country Club de Chapala at Vista del Lago. The “scramble” format competition has a 9 a.m. start.
There will be plenty of prizes, including a 2013 model Smart Car for a hole-in-one on #4, sponsored by the Chapala Association of Realtors, a brand new club car for a hole-in-one on #8 and passes to the best golf courses in Mexico such as El Tigre and Litivu.
The event will feature a great barbecue, a bag full of goodies from the sponsors, a 50/50 draw and door prizes.
The price for a “Golfer’s Total Package” (excluding caddy) is 1,200 pesos. Non-golfers can get in on the fantastic meal for 250 pesos. Sign up at the pro-shop or call 763-5136.
