After meeting at Manix Restaurant in Ajijic for the past two years, Christ Church Anglican Fellowship is moving its services to the Little Chapel by the Lake, located on the Chapala-Ajijic Carretera near the Chula Vista Golf Club.
Permission to share the facility was obtained from Bishop Lino Rodriguez of the Anglican Diocese of Western Mexico. The board of directors of the Little Chapel by the Lake and the vestry of Christ Church met to work out the details. The proposal was submitted to both congregations who enthusiastically supported it.
Though the non-denominational Little Chapel by the Lake congregation and the Christ Church Anglican Fellowship will share the facility, their services will remain separate: the Anglican service at 9:30 a.m. and the Little Chapel service at 11:15 a.m., with a fellowship hour in between.
