New bistro books benefit brunch

Baya Bistro, lakeside’s newest eating-out option, is more than just an attractive spot to enjoy a great meal. It’s an out-of-the-box enterprise that wraps together a menu of healthy dishes, fast food service, customer comforts and financial support for good causes.

Alex Tovar and Bert Klein, co-owners of the handsome tropical style open-air palapa, offer an enticing array of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections with a heavy influence Indonesian cuisine. They are also committed to regularly contributing a portion of their profits to the Huntington’s Disease Foundation and local charities such as Hope House and Love in Action.
