A kayak workshop was held on June 2 and 3 at the La Tasca water front in Ajijic.
The owner of Mayan Seas Kayaks, Rafael Mier from Queretaro, provided the sea kayak training that included beginning, intermediate and advanced skills in paddling, water safety and water rescue. Eleven people participated in this training session organized by the commodore of the Kayak Club, Wayne Renz. All were very pleased with their improved level of expertise and increased the confidence they achieved from the workshop.
The Kayak Club meets every Thursday, noon, at La Tasca Restaurant for lunch. Join them for lunch, fellowship and more information about kayaking.
