Don’t miss the 34th annual Mexican National Chili Cookoff – bigger and better than ever, say organizers – on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 10, 11 and 12 in the grassy, shady comfort of Ajijic’s Tobolandia.
Gates open at 11 a.m. daily and there’s plenty of parking in the water park’s parking lot. Carts will ferry the physically challenged to all the fun. Proceeds from the event aid several children’s charities at Lakeside. Admission is only 20 pesos and the entertainment lasts all day, along with the sampling and voting on your favorite margaritas, salsa and chili. Be there or be sorry!
