Rather than visit one vivero (nursery) and be disappointed that you didn’t find the plant you wanted, head to Plaza Guadalajara in the city center, where more than a dozen vendors have set up and are selling their products.
In addition to a big variety of potted plants and small trees, you’ll find the first poinsettias of the season, as well as booths selling cacti, bonsai and orchids. The fair will run through Sunday, November 11 and the quality is good. Plaza Guadalajara faces the Palacio Municipal.
