Put your pants on

Lakeside doesn’t actually have a dress code but it wouldn’t hurt visitors and foreigners living here to be more sensitive to what’s acceptable to the local Mexican community.

Standing outside of your gate on the public sidewalk in an open bathrobe with nothing but your skin on underneath just doesn’t cut it. Even if weren’t a moral problem (flashing is frowned upon in most cultures), 60-plus-year-old body parts aren’t particularly scenic. The same goes for short shorts with wide legs and no support for the “boys” underneath. Believe it or not, the rest of us (and not just Mexicans) find the flopping around like cats in a sack with an occasional paw sticking out downright disgusting. You wouldn’t parade around like that in your own home town. You’d probably be arrested. Put your pants on!
