The Expo Chapala Artsenal crafts fair is a perfect place to look for great bargains on unique ceramic pieces and lots of other fine goods produced by local artisans.
Retail and wholesale buyers will find great deals on hand-loomed textiles, hand-embroidered clothing, typical huarache footwear and other leather goods, Wixirika Indian beadwork, fashion wear and accessories. The latest edition of the tri-annual show opened last Wednesday at the west end of the waterfront Malecon, continuing daily, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., through Sunday, February 20.
