Feel-good comedy to end 2011 on a high

Smack-dab in the spirit of the season, Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) will open Tom Dudzick’s warm, family, feel-good comedy, “Greetings!” on Saturday, December 10.

Peggy Lord Chilton is directing a cast with Kevin O’Byrne, Sally Jo Bartlett, Kenneth Bridges, Amy Friend and Keith Scott. The stage manager is Kathleen Neal assisted by Margo Eberly.

The domestic (somewhat philosophical) comedy is filled with one-liners to keep you laughing but leaves lots of room for breathing – and guess what!? It turns out that the message is old-fashioned on one hand and filled with New Age nuances on the other. It is one that will leave you humming (or at least still smiling) when you leave the theater.

Tickets for 200 pesos each will go on sale Thursday and Friday, December 8 and 9, 10 a.m. to noon at the theater box office and each day of the run (until sold out) at the same time. The box office also opens one hour before the 7:30 p.m. curtain. Matinees on Sundays begin at 3 p.m.

Arrive early for the best parking and enjoy the full-service bar on the Angel patio beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Season ticket holders who want to make changes from their usual scheduled attendance should call the box office at 766-0954 and leave a message.
