The 19th International Mariachi Festival ambassador and her “princesses” salute the large crowds as the annual parade makes its way along Av. 16 de Septiembre/Alcalde, accompanied by 44 foreign and Mexican mariachi groups playing classic songs such as “El Son de la Negra,” “Cielito Lindo” and “Jarabe Tapatio,” as well as 12 groups of folkloric dancers and many charros and esaramuzas on horseback.
