Changwon Mayor Wan Su Park visited Mexico this week to sign the agreement alongside his Guadalajara counterpart, Ramiro Hernandez.

Attack on young campers sparks outrage

Four inebriated men armed with machetes attacked a group of 22 young campers enjoying an overnight sleep out in the area of rock formations known as El Diente, located to the north of Guadalajara in the municipality of Zapopan.
The campers were aged between 6 and 16 and members of the Dragon Brigade. They were accompanied by three adults and were preparing for a rappelling course the following day.

Jalisco Secretaría de Movilidad (SM) officials say U.S. manufactured anti-photo license covers designed to make car tags invisible to speed cameras do not work. Selling the micas (covers) with the promise that motorists will be able to escape speeding tickets is fraudulent and should be denounced at the Consumer Protection Agency, say Movilidad officials.
H&M is to open store

Swedish multinational retail-clothing company H&M is to open its first store in Guadalajara in the Plaza Galerias.
Operating since 1947, the chain has 2,800 branches in 48 countries and is the second biggest retail clothing company in the world with more than 95,000 employees.
