The second annual Catrina parade is spread out throughout the municipality, with extensions in Ajijic, San Antonio Tlayacapan and Atotonilquillo, slated to stay on view through next week.

Most of the 54 metal frames were parceled out to local schools to be dressed, decorated and named by teachers and students.  Themes ranged from depictions of Mexican ethnic groups and well known people to representations of modern day society and public issues such as endangered species and breast cancer awareness.
